auspicious time of the worship by good and righteous people. Oh lakSmI!, Come
showering a rain of goldI You, who are effulgent as a crore suns; fulfil
all the wishes and desires of the mind/heart.
You, who steadfastly
reside in the homes of devotees bringing festivity, joy and bliss forever;
You, who shines brightly in the minds of the virtuous. Come! Bestowing forune
without doubt, come shaking your comely hand adorned with bangles; O
louts-eyed consort of viSNu come!
Ensuring the flow of a
stream of sugar and ghee, come by the auspicious time of friday which is your
favourite day for worship! O queen of purandhara viThala, please come!
