Salutations to
nIlOtpalAmbA, the mother of the entire universe, to the one who resides in the
mUlAdhAra cakram, who grants boons to mucukunda, who is the embodiment of the
mUla mantra, who grants boons to guruguha, and who destroys basic ignorance;
who resurrected Cupid, who is flanked by lakSmi and sarasvati, who destroys
the evils of kali(yuga), who is the flood of the nector of mercy, who is
kauLini, who is very dear to shiva, the Lord of kAma, who is naLini, who
blesses with the knowledge of kAma tantra, who dwells in the triangle
worshiped by Lord viSNu, and the one who is the expert in granting all
desires.
NOTES
As can be seen, this
composition contains tantrik themes. The “bhOga shakti” aspect of goddess is
appropriately depicted in this k.rti.
This song does not feature
the rAga mudra for kEdAragauLa, and is the only k.rti in this series without a
raga mudra.
