Title: Arul Adal
Based on: Ramalinga Adigal's
Tiruvarutpa
Music: Nadabrahmam Kunnakudi Dr.
R Vaidyanathan
Review:
Joy to Behold:
Dancing with joyous abundance when the role demanded it, Parvathi
Ravi Ghantasala fully understood the importance of the lyrics and
her mobile face vividly portrayed the yearning for Lord Muruga,
which, coupled with Parvathi's abhinaya was a fitting finale... The
procession of Lord Siva carried aloft in a palanquin by several
young dancers was a visual treat... (Subbudu, Indian Express) |

Review :
Glowing with Bhakti Bhava : Parvathi bespoke her sincerity with glowing
bhakti bhava and performed the dual role of Goddess and looked the very picture of Abhirami in
the sanctum
sanctorum.... displayed her fine mimetic prowess with much conviction...
Her stamina was
remarkable... (T S Parthasarathy, Indian Express) |

Title:
Annamayya
Based on : The life-history of Annamacharya
Music : L Vaidyanathan and D
Pasupati
Review :
Sublime Dance on the life of
Annamayya : Parvathi gave a fine portrayal of Annamayya's life-history
and along with her co-dancers, carried the audience to the key episodes - the pilgrimage to
Tirumala, encountered with divine grace, scenic beauty of a touching genre such as
the ravishing portrait of Lord Venkateswara, the numeric power of
Parvathi's dance sequences in which one could visualise. The blending of astonishing empathy
along these
contributed to the sublimating of the dance feature... (K S
Mahadevan, Indian Express) |

Title : Ambalavananum Aranganum
Based on : Tirumarai Divya Prabandham and
Sankara-Narayana Sthalapuranam
Music : Nadabrahmam Kunnakudi Dr. R
Vaidyanathan
Review :
A beautiful dance drama : Parvathi and her co-dancers presented
the show with
admirable ease. The religious rapture of Tevaram, Tirumarai Divya Prabandham and Shankaranarayana episodes. The patterns
woven by them remained etched in one's memory. Parvathi danced outstandingly. Kudos to Parvathi Ghantasala ans her
mentor Krishnakumari Narendran... (LV, The Hindu) |
