I have had the immense good fortune to be under the tutelage of two of the finest personalities that ever graced the world of Carnatic Music - Dr. Ramanathan (my beloved Thatha!) and Muktha Amma. They are not just musicians - they are exemplary human beings, remarkable for their simplicity, humility, sense of discipline and single-minded devotion to their chosen art.
