Carnatica is pleased to
announce special prizes for articles related to music. These prizes will
be a regular feature and will be funded from a Promoters' Endowment set up
by Sowmya, Shashikiran & Ramanathan (the Directors of Srishti's Carnatica
Pvt. Ltd.) in memory of the late vidwans Dr. S. Ramanathan,
Calcutta Sri. K. S. Krishnamurthy and Sri. M. D. Ramanathan.

prize – $100
2nd
prize – $75
3rd
prize – $50
People of all ages can
participate and the entries should reach Carnatica before the 15th
of October. Articles will be published on this website and the prizes will be
given away on Vijayadashami day. The contributions must be original and word
limit for each entry shall be 2000. The write-up must be accompanied by a
brief biography of the contributor.
