Srinidhi Sundar, aged 14 years, is a disciple of Kalaimamani
Smt. K J Sarasa. She had her Arangetram in November 1997. She
has given solo performances in well-known festivals like the
Mamallapuram Dance Festival and in Sabhas like the
Nungambakkam Cultural Academy, Bharat Kalachar, Karthik Fine
Arts and Natyanjali Trust. She has also participated in group
dance programmes in the Annual Dance Festival, Mahabalipuram,
Saaral Vizha, Kutrallam, 2000.
She also has to her credit:
- The Natya Kala Ratna Award
from Chennai Social and Cultural Academy, 2000.
- The first prize in Bharatam,
a popular contest conducted by Raj TV, 1999.
The Telugu Social and Cultural
Academy also felicitated her in 1999.
