A comprehensive encyclopaedia that provides synoptic yet detailed perspective of the artistes who form the pillars of the temple of classical art. 

For ease of classification, the artistes have been divided into two basic categories - Past and Present. In each, there are further subdivisions based on whether they are vocalists or instrumentalists. The artistes given here have been listed in alphabetical order.
