D K Jayaraman

    
The renowned brother of D K Pattammal, D K Jayaraman had his musical training under many stalwarts, including giants like Papanasam Sivan and his own sister. He had a sizeable repertoire and is credited with popularising several masterpieces with his crisp rendition. His singing style was very traditional and he enjoyed immense popularity. He also trained plenty of students many of whom are leading performers today.
