| Dandapani Desikar reigned supreme for several years in the field of devotional Tamil songs. He was endowed with a rich, resonant voice which earned him a lot of popularity and respect. A good composer himself, he was responsible for publishing the works of other great composers on behalf of the Annamalai University and Tamil Isai Sangam. |
